E9: How the River Shapes Us: 3 Generations Deep with Mindfulness Coach, Jessica Thayer

Jessica Thayer works around presence and accepting what is. Her youth as the daughter of a single mom involved in whitewater has been an integral part of her journey so far. She grew up living an alternative life spending summers at the youth hostel alongside the Appalachian Trail, going to the Olympic time trials and hanging out with loads of river rats was an intriguing balance to the natural calming beauty of growing up on the river. She now works as a Mindfulness Coach and Unschooling mother of a six year old, bringing her to learn acceptance, peace and balance. You can find her at https://linktr.ee/mindstatematters or mindstatematters.org

Becca Ploener is a whitewater kayak instructor and authenticity coach based out of Asheville, NC. She works with folks who are feeling burntout, tired, and like they have NO TIME for themselves. Combining her knowledge from her background in psychology, experiential and inquiry based learning, wilderness medicine, women's health, and whitewater kayaking she helps people to take charge of their life again so they can have fun regularly. Her mission is to wake you up to your wild, brave, and downright uninhibited self. You can learn more about her on her website, facebook at Wild Woman Coaching or reach out to her via email at [email protected] or phone at (302)-584-6579.
