I know I am not the only one who's ever felt frustrated by dating apps, growing out of friendships, and building connections in adult life. I connect better in person, but it seems like everyone meets online now-adays. I low key hate texting, and I'd rather be out adventuring than making a bunch of small talk with strangers.

That's why I created this event. I know I get intimidated walking into a climbing gym or boat ramp or trailhead not knowing anyone, but wanting to mingle and make friends. "Are they single?" "Are they interested in making friends right now?" "I am I interesting enough to talk to?"

The Send Social 2025 is hosted at Cultivate Climbing with Adventure Mindset Coach, Becca (hey, that's me!) with the intention of creating a super low-key, low-stakes place for adventurers (not just climbers) to meet each other. Scroll Down for more information.

What's included? Why not just go climbing any random day?

Any random day would theoretically work, however, in my experience I show up to the gym, boat ramp, or trailhead and people already have their groups. At the Send Social, the intention is to mingle and interact with each other. You know you won't be the only one looking for connections.

I'll be hosting mini workshops and interactive activities throughout the night that help break the ice so you can skip past some of that frustrating small talk and dive into playful and deep conversation.

We'll have name tags with what you're looking for. Ie: "looking for friends", "looking for a gym friend", "looking for a relationship with a man", "looking for a relationship with a woman", "open to anything", etc. It makes it a LOT easier to gauge someone's interest when you already know that they're single or only looking for friends.

If you're not convinced, no worries, stay home. We'll have fun without you. :P

PS. We'll have a prize drawing during the event. If you bring a friend, you both get an extra ticket to the drawing. This must be noted in the form above!
